CULTURAL TOUR

FULL DAY CULTURAL TOUR
Join us for some real South African culture. The tour starts with a visit to the Caste of Good Hope. Built in 1679 by Jan van Riebeeck and the Dutch East India Company, this is the oldest building in South Africa. Afterwards we visit the District Six Museum to explain the history of the pass laws. The museum celebrates the once lively multiracial area that was destroyed during Apartheid. In the afternoon we take you to Langa for the ultimate Township Experience. The tour includes a guided walking through Cape Town´s most vibrant, colorful and lively township. You will get the unique opportunity to interact with residents, try locally brewed beer, visit an African arts and crafts market and enjoy a typical South African meal you never had before. Smell the street barbeques, learn to pronounce umqombothi and hear the children at play!
