HALF DAY CITY TOUR
The City Tour includes a visit to Table Mountain in an ultra-modern cable car with 360 degree panoramic views. This famous landmark is now one of the New7Wonders of Nature. The flat-topped mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town and has views in every direction all the way to Robben Island, Cape Point, and the Hottentot’s Holland mountains. After a stroll along the top you will proceed to the Company’s Gardens, a park and heritage site located in central Cape Town. The garden was originally created by Jan van Riebeeck to grow fresh vegetables and fruit trees to stock ships passing the Cape. We pass by Green Market Square, an arts and crafts market, where you can buy souvenirs. Last but not least we will visit the city quarter known as BoKaap, with its colorful houses, magnificent setting, and rich history. If you choose to do the morning tour your will be part of the canon ceremony that takes place Monday – Saturday at 12PM.
